Russian Towers Group and the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Khabarovsk Region signed Cooperation Agreement

The Russian Towers Group and the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Khabarovsk Region signed the Agreement on Cooperation in the area of communication systems’ development in the Khabarovsk Region. The Agreement was signed between Sergey Fedorov, the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of the Khabarovsk Region, and Alexander Chub, the President of the Russian Towers Group.
The investment project is aimed at the development of an information and telecommunications’ infrastructure in the Khabarovsk Region in order to place equipment which complies with the standards of modern and advanced communication systems.
The Agreement will be implemented in the cities of Khabarovks and Komsomolsk-on-Amur and it provides for the installation of the dual-purpose poles. This will help to solve the problem with the choice of places where mobile radio telephone equipment, needed to increase the capacity of existing communication networks, will be installed.

"The Ministry analyzed experience of the regions developing communications infrastructure by using urban infrastructure, illumination or traffic line poles. We think that implementation of the Agreement and use of this solution will permit to improve the quality of mobile communication services in the compact housing areas and ensure that the infrastructure is ready for the launch of new communication standards".
