Russian Towers expands its presence in Russia’s Far East20 September 2016. Moscow
Russian Towers Group of Companies and the Administration of the Primorskiy Territory have reached an agreement for cooperation in development of telecommunications infrastructure in the Primorskiy Territory.
As a part of this cooperation, another project has already been successfully implemented: provision of telecom infrastructure to II Eastern Economic Forum held on September 2-3, 2016 in Vladivostok.
Russian Towers had erected transmission towers at the bypass road from the Knevichi airport to Far Eastern Federal University campus, where the major forum events took place. Telecom operators were able to deploy their base stations on the said towers, thus having provided high-quality uninterrupted communications to the entire route from the Vladivostok airport to Russkiy Island.
The state-run program ‘Social-economic development of Russia’s Far East and the Baikal region’ scheduled for 2014-2025 primarily focuses on arrangement of conditions for region development, for improvement of social-demographic situation and promotion of this competitive region. Present-day infrastructure of mobile communications supplied to the region will give a jump-start to development of voice and data transmission services consumed by individuals, business and the state. We are happy to contribute to this important project, noted Alexander Chub, the President of Russian Towers GC.
Within their cooperation, the parties will continue to promote implementation of socially important projects in the Primorskiy Territory.
